In these watercolours I have been exploring the shifting boundaries between what is seen and what is felt. Painted alongside my journal, Learning to Surf at 60, these works reflect the transitional zone where the eye drinks in not just sea, nor sand, nor sky, but the liminal zone where, like in our dreams, diversity is at its greatest.
Forthcoming : The Attendant From the ‘Expectant' journey over the last two years, painting views stolen by the motorcar, I have decided to turn my attention to witness the less frequented old ways of Somerset. I will be gathering the work for my next collection, 'The Attendant'. I invite you to share my latest journey.
